Case study · Aesthetic clinic owner, Australia — a repeat client

From clinic moodboard to delivery in Australia

The brief

She originally planned a personal shopping trip. On the phone she asked what I mainly source; when she heard furniture and decor, she decided to try importing the fit-out for her aesthetic clinic from China instead of buying it at home.

The work

  • Worked from her clinic renders to build the purchase list
  • Arranged and attended the factory visits
  • Compared the quotes and negotiated until the prices met her budget
  • Checked the goods before shipment
  • Consolidated the orders, with warehousing included for this project
  • Supervised the container loading
  • Arranged door-to-door delivery with the forwarder

The result

The first clinic went from purchase list to clinic door, and the saving against buying at home went back into her business. Five months later she came back to Guangzhou for a second, bigger clinic — that order filled a 40ft high-cube container.

The project, photographed

From moodboard to delivery in Australia

These photographs show how the project moved from the client’s colour references through factory checks, consolidation, loading and delivery in Australia.

More projects, including a Guangzhou market week and factory visits for a Cambodian construction team, are on the projects and reviews page. The stage-by-stage process behind this case is on the sourcing services page.
